"Hit Song!"

"I went to newcomer Derik Schumacher's showcase the other night. Man, someone needs to sign Derik, put out a single of a song he sang -- 'They Don't Call Him Jr. Anymore' -- have a big hit and then figure out what other songs on his self-titled independent album will work for a major album. And Derik's doing something cool with his CD, which features two patriotic tunes, 'There're Still P.O.W.s at the V.F.W.' and 'The All-American Legion'. He's making the CD available to American Legion and VFW posts. When a copy is purchased at a post, all proceeds remain at that post. I congratulate Derik for his support of our veterans!"
